University of Moncton was established in 1963. The university is a French language university located in Moncton, New Brunswick serving the Acadian community of Atlantic Canada. It is the only Francophone University in New Brunswick is one of only two such universities in the Maritimes. The university offers more than 160 study programs. The university enrols around 6,200 students each year.
