Alkesh Dinesh Mody Institute for Financial and Management Studies, Mumbai was established in 1994, as a Department of the University of Mumbai, offering management education with a focus of financial services. The Institute was set up in response to growing and acute need felt by Indian managers and investors to deal with rapidly changing business and financial environment. The courses started at the outset were a Diploma in Investment Studies and the Masters in Financial Services and Management program, which was exclusively offered by ADMI for more than half a decade. ADMI established in 1994 extended it's financial management programs to the prestigious Masters in Management Studies Program for the first time in 2002-2003 to live up to the increasing demand for Management professionals.

students who are interested to get their Final/Summer placement through institute should register themselves in placement cell and assist in the placement activity. Those students who will not register their names, college will not take their responsibility. The institute will provide placement services to MMS & TYBMS students if they want. Students can avail of this service by contacting the placement cell. Preference will be given those students who stay in touch with the students team or placement officer.
If a student gets offer for more than one company, it is up to him to decide about the joining of companies after consulting the placement cell. The institute will assist students by providing career counseling, making of an effective resume, interview training and Brochure presentation. Institute makes no guarantee of job offers to students and final selection will depend upon the performance of the candidate at the time of interview.
