Overview

Vidyalankar Institute of Technology (VIT), Mumbai was established in 1999. It is affiliated to University of Mumbai and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). This college is managed by Vidyalankar Dynapeeth Trust (VDT). It secured an A grade rating from the Mumbai University in 2005. The basic objective of starting this academic institution was to satisfy the inner urge of guiding eager young minds of engineering students. 

 

The mission of the college is to provide an educational environment where students can reach their full potential in their chosen discipline and become responsible citizens without compromising in ethics and a scholarly environment where the talents of both, the faculty members and students are nurtured and used to create knowledge and technology for the benefit of the society.

The Vidyalankar campus is spread over a sprawling area of 11 acres at Wadala. The college campus is located at the heart of city, making travel to and from the college very easily accessible by any of the two public transport means. It is well connected by them from all parts of the city.
