The Xavier Institute of Management (XIMB), Bhubaneswar is one of the premier management institutes of India. XIMB Bhubaneswar came into existence in 1987, with the efforts of Government of Orissa and the Jesuit Society. It is managed by a Governing Board consists with Jesuit Society, State government, Government of India, and well known industrialists and educationists. XIMB boasts of world-class infrastructure. It has one of the most technology-intensive campuses in India.

Although Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar is an autonomous institution it is not affiliated to any university - the two year Post-Graduate Diploma course in Business Management, offered by it, is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Moreover, the course has been considered equivalent to an MBA degree of an Indian University. Due to its autonomous status, XIMB Bhubaneshwar doesn't grant degree. The institute provides adequate infrastructure to the students.

The Campus :-

XIMB is located in a 20 acre campus in the Institutional Area of Bhubaneswar. It is surrounded by organisations such as Satyam Computers, Infosys, STPI, Nalco, Posco, CYSD etc.

The campus has Ultra Modern Classroom Facilities, Administrative Buildings, Student Hostels, Executive Hostel, Faculty Quarters, Studio Apartment, Recreation Club, Management Development Center, Sports Club, GYM Center and Multipurpose Auditorium.
