Operations management is a specialized profession which includes implementing strategies, designing and controlling the process of converting raw material into the final products. It deals with wide range of responsibilities related to decision making such as product designing, maintenance, quality management, technology to be implemented, and management of the supply chain process, inventory and forecasting.
