Bioinformatics is a division of science which is concerned with the use of information technology in the area of molecular biology. It includes the purpose of computer technology to manage and study the biological data. Computers are used for collecting, analyzing, storing and merging the biological data. The purpose of bioinformatics is to collect the material goods of biological information and use it for the development of living standards of human beings. There are several areas where bioinformatics is applied such as agriculture, human health, biotechnology, environment and energy to progress the biomedical research and development.
