What is AILET 2016?

 
All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) is conducted by National Law University (NLU), Delhi to take admission 5 years B.A.LL.B honors, 1 year LL.M and Ph.D programs for the session 2016.

What is the examination date for AILET 2016?

 
The AILET will be held on Sunday, May 01, 2016.
 

What are the eligibility criteria for AILET 2016?

 
  • For B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) Program: Candidates should have passed the 10+2 examination and scored a minimum of 50%. However, candidates appearing for 10+2 examinations in the year of the AILET can also apply, provided they meet the above condition at the time of admission. 
  • For LL.M Program: Candidate should have passed the LL.B. or an equivalent degree from a recognised University with not less than 55% marks on aggregate (50% in case of reserved categories, i.e. SC/ST/Persons with Disability).

What is the application fee?

 
Application fee is Rs.3, 000/- (Rs.1, 000/- for SC/ST  and persons with disability). Below Poverty Line (BPL) applicants of SC/ST category are exempted from application fee.

Candidates should make online payment towards the application fee.

Last date for online application forms is Thursday, April 07, 2016.

What is the paper pattern for AILET 2016?

 
AILET has 150 questions for 150 marks that must be attempted within 1 hour 30 minutes. The AILET has sections on English, General Knowledge, Basic Mathematics, Logical Reasoning and Legal Aptitude.

Hall Ticket will be availble on the University website from Thursday, April 14, 2016.

When will be the result of AILET 2016 declared?

 
Results of AILET 2016 will be declared on:
  • For B.A.LL.B (Hons.) Program: Sunday, May 15, 2016.
  • For LL.M Program: Friday, July 01, 2016.
  • For Ph.D Program: Friday, July 15, 2016.
