What is ATMA February 2016?

 

AIMS Test for Management Admissions, which is one of the six national level tests, along with CAT, CMAT, GMAT, MAT and XAT, recognized by AICTE and Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. Launched in 2000, ATMA is a credible, comprehensive and single window test for admission to different post-graduate management programs.

What is the eligibility criterion for ATMA February 2016?

 

Any graduate or students of final year in graduation, without any age restriction can appear for the test.

How many test centres can be chosen by a candidate?

 

Two test centres, in order of preference at the time of registration itself.

Is ATMA February 2016 a online or a offline test?

 

ATMA February 2016 is an offline test(pen-paper test).

What is the nature and structure of ATMA February 2016?

 

The test contains 180 objective type questions spread over six sections to be answered over a period of three hours. The following table shows the structure of ATMA.

How many multiple answers for each question will be provided?

 

Each objective type question will have four answers. The candidate will have to click the answer which she/he thinks correct.

What is the amount of registration fee and is it refundable if the test is not given by the candidate for any reason?

 

The registration fee is Rs.1100/- (Rupees One Thousand One Hundred only). The fee once remitted will not be refunded under any circumstance.

Is it necessary to provide cell no. and email ID at the time of payment and also registration?

 

Yes. A candidate should provide his/her cell no. and valid email ID for all future communications.

What is the advantage of selecting participating institutes while doing the registration?

 

ATMA scores will be sent to the five institutes selected from the List of Participating Institutes available on the website. The candidates can quote the PID no., and apply to the selected Institutes through the institutes application form to be obtained directly from the respective Institutes.

How does a candidate make the registration fee payment?

 

Candidates can make the registration fee payments using the following modes:

 

  • Mode 1: Online Payment using debit/ credit cards
  • Mode 2: Bank account transfer

Is a print-out of the registration of the application required?

 

After completion of all the required data and selecting "Click here" to register for ATMA exam, a candidate is required to take a print-out for showing at the time of the test.

What are the items allowed into the test venue?

 

Except Ball point pen for signing in the admit card and in the attendance sheet, filled-in registration print-out, payment receipt and Photo Id. no other items will be allowed into the lab.

How does one do the rough calculations?

 

Papers for rough work will be provided by the test venue, which should be submitted to the invigilator.

Around what date the results of ATMA February 2016 can be expected?

 

The results of ATMA December 2015 are expected to be declared around Thursday, March  10, 2016

Is a hard copy of the score card sent to the candidate?

 

No. Every candidate is expected to download his/her score card within a maximum of two months from the date of announcement on the website.
