How to apply for JEMAT?

The application form may be downloaded from the website www.wbut.net . Completed application forms are to be submitted to the University office. Application form may also be submitted online. Examination fees are Rs. 800 for general category and Rs. 400 for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates (without late fine) while the corresponding fees are Rs 1000 and Rs. 500 respectively (with late fine). The examination fees are to be deposited in any branch of Indian Bank (anywhere in India) at the following account : Account Name - WBUT-JEMAT; Account No. 803092637.

Incomplete or improperly filled forms will be cancelled. The pay-in slip for depositing may also be downloaded from the website. In the pay-in slips candidates must give their contact phone numbers, the same as given in the application forms. Two copies of passport size photograph duly signed and mentioning formno on the back must be submitted. Candidates applying online should send the pay-in slip counterfoil and photographs to the University Office.

 

What is the Exam pattern for JEMAT?

Written test will be of 2 hours duration consisting of objective type questions of 100 marks divided into three sections:

Section I: English-40 Marks
Section II: Mathematics-40 Marks
Section III: Logical Resoning-20 Marks

Selection process for JEMAT

All Candidates have to first give a written test. Candidates who clear the written test will be called for Personal Interview and General Discussion. Final selection will be based on the following weight ages: Written Test(80%);Personal Interview(10%);General Discussion(10%).

How to obtain JEMAT application?

Candidates have to download the application form for JEMAT through the website www.wbut.net. The payment for test is to be made through a bank account in Indian Bank. Candidates can also submit the form online through the same website.
