Eligibility criteria? 
For Maharastra Candidates: H.S.C.(10 +2) cut-off: 150 out of 300 (50% in PCM minimum marks).
Previous year's MHT-CET-cut-off: 110 out of 200 (55% minimum marks).
Non-Maharastra State candidates at MHT CET:
The candidates have to be Indian Nationals and should have passed the H.S.C (10+2) examination of Maharashtra
State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with English,
Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and secured minimum 50% marks i.e. 150 marks out of 300 marks in
the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together.
It is also essential to secure non zero score in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for selection in MHT-CET.
What is the paper pattern? 
MHT-CET comprises of three question papers. Each paper is of 100 marks.
Paper I : Physics & Chemistry (50 marks each).
Paper II : Biology (Botany & Zoology - 50 marks each).
Paper III : Mathematics (100 Marks).
There is no choice among the questions, i.e. all questions have to be answered.
Candidates desirous of selection to Health Science courses and BVSc & AH should appear for Paper I & Paper II.
Candidate desirous of selection to Engineering degree courses should appear for Paper I and Paper III.
Candidates desirous of selection to Pharmacy degree course should appear for Paper I & Paper-II and/or Paper-III.
How do I pay the application fee? 
The Specified Application Fees should be paid by Cash/ Demand Draft / Pay Order of any Nationalized/
Scheduled/ Private sector Commercial bank drawn in favour of "Director, College of Engineering, Pune"
payable at Pune. No other mode of payment shall be permitted.

MHT-CET is THE entrance examination for you If you have scored good marks in your boards.
You can certainly gain admission in many of the colleges.
I am from Maharashtra and very much eager to join NIT, Nagpur. Which exam is advisable for me AIEEE/MHT-CET? 
For Candidates from Maharastra aiming to get into NIT Nagpur, MHT-CET is the way to go.
For others, AIEEE is a must to improve their odds of claiming a seat at NIT-Nagpur.
Which way is better MHTCET or AIEEE to get admission in any of the premier Colleges of Maharashtra? 
If you aim to get into NIT-Nagpur, one needs to write AIEEE as well to improve the odds of claiming a seat there.
If you are aiming for any of the other colleges under MHTCET, then appearing for MHTCET will suffice.
