The big surprise in SNAP this year was that the authorities did not allow the students to take home the question paper. This move will only allow for greater amount of uncertainty while applying to colleges and will definitely benefit the lower ranked Symbiosis colleges in attracting a larger number of applications. Candidates will get section-wise percentage scores i.e as a percentage of the highest score in the section instead of a percentage of the maximum marks of the section. The cut offs for SNAP 2011 conducted on December 18, 2011 are now out. This year the cut-offs for Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) dropped by more than 25-30 points.
