The upcoming placement season at the premier Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) is expected to bring in an increased number of job offers with higher salary packages, going by the positive trend of the Pre-placement Offers (PPOs). Indian employers happy with engineering graduate recruits: survey

Most of the Indian employers are happy with the engineering graduates that they hire from different campuses in India, as per the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI)-World Bank Employer Satisfaction Survey published recently. Govt launches technical education schemes for women, differently-abled

The Government of India has recently launched two schemes in the domain of technical education, one each for women and differently-abled children. Starting next year, Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) students will get more options to choose electives, thereby getting to exercise their own choice in what they aspire to learn.
