About FMS
FMS MBA entrance exam is an MBA Entrance Exam conducted by the Faculty of Management Studies for admission into its 2 year MBA programmes. The sections tested are Quantitative ability, Verbal ability, English comprehension, Analytical ability & Logical Reasoning numbering to 175 questions to be complted within a two hour duration.
Eligibility
Candidates applying for admission to the first year of MBA (Full-Time) Programme must have pursued at least a 3-year Bachelor's Degree Programme after 12 years of formal schooling in any of the following disciplines. The minimum requisite percentage of marks in different disciplines is as follows :- Arts, Commerce or Social Sciences - 50%, Sciences - 55%, Mathematics or Statistics - 60%, Medicine, Engineering or Technology - 60% / CGPA of at least 6.00 in a scale of 10.00 OR Post Graduate Degree or 2nd Degree examination after 10+2+3 scheme, securing at least 60% marks. Candidates appearing for the final examination of Bachelor's / Post Graduate Degree examinations may also apply. Candidates must be 20 years of age as on 1st of October of the year of admission.
Application Form
Admission Forms along with relevant Information Bulletin will tentatively be available from the designated branches of State Bank of India from 20 October, 2009 to 01 December, 2009 on cash payment of Rs.1000/- for applying to both the programmes and Rs. 500/- for applying to any one programme. Applicants must enclose the bank counterfoil and reserved category certificate, if any, with the application. Candidates may also apply online at the official website. GD and personal interviews of successful candidates will tentatively be held in March/April 2010. Applications cannot be obtained by post. Applicants cannot download the application forms. They may either complete the entire process online or may register online & send in the application fee payment by bank draft.
