The book that really moved you...
Hi guyz..... i believe that in any body's life there is always one book
that had its effect for days togther and may be in one or many
wayz......affected you and ...possibly...without your knowledge.....it
would have become a parrt of ur thinking....please tell me one
such book..a book that comes to ur mind wen u close ur eyes.....need
not be a literary master piece......can be anything from any mother
tongue.....lemme know and if possible lemme lay my hands on some grt
stuff....keep me posted...nilu

ya "NILI" its a good topic that u arised, i appreciate that ne ways so far this type of books r concern i still remember that book & why not that ofcourse some where down the line changes my life.
come back 2 da topic the name of that book was "women who seek" previously 2 speak truely girls for me were lyk local trains but after reading that it really created a respect for women. any ways thank you for this beautiful topic. well u can snd me a mail on this id: aaman_cg143@yahoo.co.in & b sure of getin a fedback from me.
the book that i still remember and always will is ERICH SEGAL'S LOVE STORY.Nothing has moved me ever since and nothing will.i was always fond of love stories.but this one was just out of this world! "love means not ever having to say you are sorry".

the book i like is the monk who sold his ferrari.it is very motivational book.if ur life is not focussed than read it its simply GREAT.

The book that would come into forefront.. would be Lust for Life by Irving Stone.. It changed me to see new dimension that never existed in my life..'painting'

it is the one about the american bishop and his teachings. i forgot its name. it was best seller for many years. bit it was greatest inspirational book for many years.

Well, very difficult to narrow it down to one book, but my list is
1. Catcher in the Rye - J D Salinger
2. The Outsider - Albert Camus
3. The Fall - same author as above
4. The old man and the sea - Hemingway
5. 2001 A space odyssey - Arthur C Clarke
And the list goes on...
In my case it would be "The Prophet" by Khalil Gibran, I had to read it twice in order to understand. This book has very powerful language and will definitely touch your soul. It answers so may question and yet keeps you puzzeled.
