New features/enhancements for blogging on minglebox

What are some of the difficulties you face while blogging on minglebox? While we all enjoy blogging here, we could definitely have some new features/enhancements to make blogging simpler and more enjoyable. Let's come up with a list then! Here are the features I would like to have -

1. Features to upload photos from minglebox. An easy interface to post them in different sizes.
2. Feature to give a name to my blog. While I may post different posts, I would want to give a certain name to my blog.

Thanks for your valuable feedback! We'll definitely look into them! Some additions as mentioned by you guys have been made to the blog channel to make it easier. 1. Uploading photos and videos to a blog is now lot easier. You can directly upload a photo while writing a blog and it will appear on your blog. It will also be stored in your album so you can get back to it any time later! 2. The smiley support is now available of ChitChat and blogs! 3. About comments - you can delete a comment that you have posted on a blog. So if you want to change a comment, you could delete the previous comment and post another comment.

Things i feel are needed in the blog section: i) spellcheck (snice i hvae horrilbe splleing as uyo can seee) ii) an option called save as draft(as sometimes the power decides to intervene in my process of attempting to key in a blog.. and the sly thing(power) goes off only when am typing in an over-400 word blog! iii) something needs to be done about the font size as sometimes it goes from ZRFCYFCY TKRD&UM to nnajkshijahdadgqeg... Thanks Nik!!

also please tell these freshers that if they want to chat with me, they should keep their settings to get my reply. No names here, but an idiot just dropped into my shat on it with his and can i chat with you...and when i replied his settings were .....i just clicked on his msg box and let go.....boy!! that felt good....but i did it very politely and if he understands the Queens language, he will make amends. God bless his soul, tho!!

I FIND IT DIFFICULT SOME TIMES TO POST THE BLOG ON LINE.... IN THE SENSE I HV TO FIRST TYPE IT IN A WORD FILE N THEY COPY N PASTE ONTO MB.... I WUD ALSO WANT TO KNW WHETHR WE CN GET TO EDIT THE COMMENTS ONCE POSTED.. YA KNW TO CORRECT THE SPELLING MISTAKES OR CHANGE THE COMMENT ITSELF....

Also an option to save a post as a draft and post it later. It's not possible sometimes to complete the blog post at one go and it'd be great to be able to get back to it as and when required.

I would also like the option to upload pictures to my blog directly from my computer(blogger allows that I suppose)... And the blog interface should be less buggy - all the text dissappears when I insert an image. I'd really like to fill up my posts with pictures, but I am not able to do so as of now... Otherwise I think the blog channel at minglebox is really good. Especially the interesting blogs and the featured blog thing...

Well yeah, option to name our blog would be cool. And also showing the category of a blog in featured blogs

You want A list or a list...anyways here goes: 1. The want to pepper my comments with smileys, linkys to a particular 'blog' is there and so is the need. Where is the oppurtunity? 2.When anybody signs up some basic fundas to be explained: a) Please read the profile of the person with whom you are going to chat and not just pop in and say ' wanna chat with me'...{see? i want to link back to itzmee's blog about ' why cant people...." or radhrajan's rant about language here} b)Irrespective of whether the person likes it or not the college / school should show up. It helps to shift gears you know!! 3. One thing I noticed is the diversity of talent that this site represnts. Some of us work too and would like to change jobs. MB could help out. Some of us would like to publish a novella ( it means a small novel bigger than a short story ). We can do it here and MB can take its fair cut in fees. While on this please google on blook, yes, blook. A blook is a book in blog form where a person can get one chapter a day or the whole book in one go. And MB gets the fees and the author jam for his daily bread. 4. Everybody is above 18 here and should be permitted to cuss freely. You can have a sub-routine that puts in stars for those who are less than 18. More later as we evolve. PS: Please make chitchat(scrap) a PRIVATE affair between two people.
