I am pleased and privileged, and honoured that someone has been kind enough to start a fan club after my name (My pseudonym AKELA)I always knew that by living the latteral life somewhere I would start hitting a kind of surge...looks like writing has sparked that off. And I would encourage all people, seriously, young and old. Go 'in' and take a look at who 'you' are beyond your job or business. Whether you are a CEO, a housewife, a student, an employee. Inside each one of us is a spark just waiting to be lit. And it is one area that is not motivated by money (lousy commodity that!!) This inner you or the journey that you do find will be driven by your passion, and I believe passion has NO END.If it is strong it rides hard, fast and intense. If it is stronger it runs on forever through others. Maybe this AKELA FAN CLUB is some manifestation of that. Too early to say, but there you have it!

For me, life was a blur till I was 46. I quit things that were important to me since I was a teenager. Been there done it all kind of guy! One day I was rolled into the ICU Ward on a wheel-chair. Me the guy who till yesterday took two steps at a time and only two at a time. And later the very cinematic journey for an angiogram on a stretcher trolley or whatever, tube lights flashing above....Life flashed by and I thought...Man where are you? Who are you? What HAVE you? Family, two kids and..... nothing! Who was 'I' ?

I did this. I revisited my past as far back as I could go. And I reached the years of my teens. Everything was new, intense. I was an actor, a painter, a poet, a singer and was constantly broke. I realized that I had just touched the surface of all those things.

So I continued where I left off. And see where I am...with you! With fellow journeymen and women!

Wake up your dreams and ride them. NOW. BELIEVE IN THEM. For in this covetous world your dreams are all you really own. Follow them. Passionately! They do come alive. Trust me! And G_D be with you
