@katikeya Year Books, GK Compendium
SIR R THERE ANY SECTIONAL CUT- OFF
@deepanwita702 Yes, GK is compulsory. Scores are added, unlike MAT

@abhijeet9630 Both are equivalent Both are games of Speed and Accuracy
@katikeya Last 4 days - anything is enough!! Pick up something that will give you last 6-7 months coverage
how one can differentiate SNAP & NMAT ON BASIS OF DIFFICULTY
@prabhuratnayak Focus on LR (speed), Math (Arithmetic and Number Systems), Calculation short-cuts, Vocab etc
sir,GK section is compulsary for the final scores?
that means 1 minute for each question
is pierson enuf for gk, wid jst 4 days left. ?
@katikeya arrrox. 30 minutes to each section would be fine
@deepanwita702 - easy to moderate
@coolcrush you will find some questions on VR
with four days how to prepare for SNAP
@katikeya Current Affairs / General Awareness - they are one an d the same
r there any sectional cut off sir
@abhijeet9630 LLB and MBA is definitely a good combination. At thi spoint, I can only say, that you should focus on a few topics in Arithmatic and Numnber Systems
does visual reasoning matters in SNAP in lr section
sir,what about the difficulty level of maths section?
is there sectional cutoff?
how much time shld i ideally devote to each section?
ll there b 40 ques frm gk?? wt in gk shld b stressed, current affairs or general awareness?

@coolcrush In MBA (IB -Fin) the focus will be on international rules, law s etc.
what is the cut off for each section?

@katikeya P&C is not at all important. Also the level of difficulty of Quants is easy to moderate

@saswat1419 pick up some GK refresher - like CSR, Manorama year book and mug up th e facts
one thing very important sir , how 2 prepare for g.k section if i say i am at the scratch
actually but last time ...with 63 score peple get calls
sir wat was the cut off of SIIB last yr..
@jubin9918 In that case aim to score somewhere around 75+ out of 180 marks
sir very good afternoon myself jubin and am appearing for snap08....and my prime focus is on SITM only..
@saswat1419 SICSR I would rank much below the other three in terms of the parameters you have mentioned
sicsr provides an m.sc course what do u think about that
@coolcrush If "worth" means "will I get a job that pays me that much" then the answer is No.
@saswat1419 That is a better question. See MBA with IT you can get at SIBM, SCMHRD, SCIT - all the three and the first two are at par. SCIT is a niche colege for IT spec.
sir is worthful in joining sibm through management sponsor
@nafeesha7708 I guess other than taking some sectional tests / full length tests, they shoudl not do anything
o sir the thing is that what sort of placement they provide how good is which one and sir since i completed my graduation with computer science as my specialization i would definitely look forward to MBA with IT so your suggestion sir
@subhashis6376 subhashis sir, is there anything different or special that students should do during the last few days left for SNAP
@saswat1419 Prefer for what? If I want to go for Telecom Management, I'll choose SITM, for Advertising I'll choose SIMC - so the answer to your questions is - I'll choose the college depending on my career goal.
sir which colleges u will prefer under SNAP sir
@saswat1419 For SIBM last year, cut-offs were 90, for SCMHRD, they were 82 and so on...
@shrishti5237 though officially there is not, still go for 30% marks in each section at least
@saswat1419 The cut-offs for the different institutes under SNAP are different
sir is there any sectional cutoff ......
sir what would be the cut off this year for SNAP
folks plz direct your questions about SNAP to subhashish sir
@saswat1419 Good afternoon
good afternoon subhasish sir
@vivek9523 vivek you had some questions in our previous chat that went unanswered. Would you like to ask again
@nafeesha7708 The SNAP is just a test organised by the Symbiosis International University for all the colleges affiliated to it
@nafeesha7708 Every college has its own process. SCMHRD, SIBM, SIMC - everybody has its own distinct admission process
@subhashish sir another question that we have had from students is what are the steps for SNAP admission-- Test followed by GD,PI or is it like individual colleges have different process
@shrishti5237 SIBM Bangalore is pretty new - that might be the only drawback! Otherwise, there would be no problem.
@nafeesha7708 Every college under SNAP has to be separately applied to depending on the scores ecpected
@sajanjohn Good question! If you have been reading the past 6 months papers. that's it!
@subhashish6376 subhashish sir one question that students have about SNAP is if they have to apply separately to SNAP colleges after giving their exam or they will get a call from appropri ate colleges based on their performance
Sir, any special tips for scoring maximum on gk ?
sir howz sibm bangalore....???
@shrishti5237 Try and do at least 15+ questions. You can score quick marks from GK
n is it necessary to score well in gk section as well....or like MAT we can attempt less in gk compared 2 other sections
@shrishti5237 Last year out of 180 marks, approx. 90 was the score required for SIBM. Therefore, I would advise at least 115 marks wotrth of attempts with 85-90% accuracy
sir how many questions one need to focus on 4 gettin call from sibm pune.....
@nafeesha7708 No problem!
@subhashis6376 subhashis sir, good afternoon. I think we are logged in a little ahead of time. Don't think a lot of people are online as of now. So maybe we will have a wait a little for people to join
@shrishti5237 I think 150 questions is what you should expect
