Paper Pattern for Gujarat Common Entrance Test

The Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GCET) will be conducted by the Gujarat Technological University (GTU) every year. The state level entrance examination is conducted for students who have completed their graduation in Gujarat, and plan to pursue higher education in the state. The exam is conducted for admission to Masters of business administration (MBA) and Masters of computer applications (MCA).

The test is conducted by the Gujarat Technological University (GTU) for admissions to courses offered by affiliated colleges and institutes. Students will have to appear for an examination, following which a merit list will be announced for the shortlisted candidates. Instead of writing on paper, students will have to appear for this exam by online mode.

Section I –

  • This section carries 80 questions in total.
  • The total time duration for this section is 64 Minutes.
  • This section is divided into 3 parts, namely English Language Skill (20 questions), Quantitative Aptitude (30 questions) and Analytic and Logical Reasoning (30 questions)

Section II –

  • This section carries 20 questions in total.
  • The total time duration for this section is 16 Minutes.
  • The questions in this section are from General Knowledge (20 Questions).

NOTE –

  • For each right answer, a candidate will get 4 marks.
  • For each wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted.

Section I –

  • This section carries 80 questions in total.
  • The total time duration for this section is 64 Minutes.
  • This section is divided into 3 parts, namely English Language Skill (20 questions), Quantitative Aptitude (30 questions) and Analytic and Logical Reasoning (30 questions)

Section II –

  • This section carries 20 questions in total.
  • The total time duration for this section is 16 Minutes.
  • This section is divided in to 2 parts, namely Quantitative Aptitude (10 Questions) and Analytical and Logical Reasoning (10 Questions)

NOTE –

  • For each right answer, a candidate will get 4 marks.
  • For each wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted.
