IBSAT is an online aptitude entrance test conducted by the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education University across India for students seeking admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA)/Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM)/Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programs offered by IBS Hyderabad. The test gives students a single window opportunity to apply to nine IBS campuses located in Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Gurgaon and Dehradun. The PhD program is offered at the IBS Hyderabad campus.

IBSAT 2014 will be held from Wednesday, December 10 to Wednesday, December 31, 2014 and the Results are expected on Monday, January 19, 2015.

IBSAT is a two-hour Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of multiple choice questions (MCQs). The examination tests students on Verbal Ability (VA), Reading Comprehension (RC), Analytical Reasoning, Quantitative Ability (QA) as well as Data Sufficiency & Data Interpretation (DI).

Selection briefings for IBSAT 2014 candidates will be conducted from Sunday, February 1 to Tuesday, February 10, 2015 in 40 cities across the country. Candidates who qualify based on IBSAT 2014/Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) from 2011 onwards/Common Admission Test 2014 (CAT 2014) scores will be called for the selection process. The selection process will start from Wednesday, February 18 and continue till Thursday, February 26, 2015, which will be held at IBS Hyderabad. The selection process comprises of Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). The final selection is based on previous academic record and performance in GD and PI.
