The Joint Entrance Examination Main 2014 (JEE Main 2014) candidates can enter their bank details for a refund of initial fees paid by them at the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) website link till 12 noon on Thursday, August 28, 2014. Hence, all the candidates who are eligible for refund of initial fee need to verify the bank details entered by them on the CSAB website and make corrections, if required, by the deadline.

The refund will be initiated from Aug 28, 2014 onwards in the bank account provided by the candidates. The candidates will be held responsible for transaction failure or transfer in wrong account, if any, due to incorrect information provided by them.

The refund process will be completed within a week from Aug 28, 2014.

To apply for refund of initial fees or modify account details for refund, please click here. Once at the page, candidates need to enter their JEE Main 2014 Roll Number and Password.

The refund will be made in the candidate's bank account through bank transfer only, for which the candidate will be required to submit their own or parent's/guardian's bank account details, that is, Account Number, Account Holder's & Bank's Name and IFSC code, etc. The refund process will be initiated after verification of the individual claims.

Candidates who have deposited the initial fee of Rs 40,000 in any of the rounds (round 1 to 4) and withdrawn/surrendered/not reported/cancelled and have not consented for using that fee in the Spot round or have participated in the Spot round but have not been allotted any seat, will be refunded their initial fee after deducting Rs 1,000. Moreover, candidates who have paid the initial fee twice by mistake will be refunded the full amount of Rs 40,000 against their double payment.
