The process of refund of initial fees paid by the Joint Entrance Examination Main 2014 (JEE Main 2014) candidates is active now through an interface at the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) website. To apply for refund of initial fees, please click here. Once at the page, candidates need to enter their JEE Main 2014 Roll Number and password.

Candidates who have deposited the initial fee of Rs 40,000 in any of the rounds (round 1 to 4) and withdrawn/surrendered/not reported/cancelled and have not consented for using that fee in the Spot round or have participated in the Spot round but have not been allotted any seat, will be refunded their initial fee after deducting Rs 1,000. Moreover, candidates who have paid the initial fee twice by mistake will be refunded the full amount of Rs 40,000 against their double payment.

The refund will be made in the candidate's bank account through bank transfer only, for which the candidate will be required to submit their own or parent's/guardian's bank account details, that is, Account Number, Account Holder's & Bank's Name and IFSC code, etc. The refund process will be initiated after verification of the individual claims.

Due to unfavorable weather condition in the north-eastern part of the country, the reporting time against the Spot Round was extended till 4 pm on Thursday, August 14, 2014.
