Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar will start running in the
city from the next academic session. This was announced by Damodar
Acharya, Director of IIT Kharagpur and Acting Director of IIT
Bhubaneswar.
IIT Kharagpur, the mentor IIT for IIT Bhubaneswar, has already started adding infrastructure to its Bhubaneswar Centre to accommodate the students of the new IIT. According to Damodar Acharya, Director of IIT Kharagpur and Acting Director of IIT Bhubaneswar, the Bhubaneswar Centre of the mentor IIT will be used as temporary campus for IIT Bhubaneswar till the institution establishes its new campus on the outskirts of the city.
