Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology (MGIT) has grown rapidly since its inception in 1997 by the Chaitanya Bharathi Educational Society (CBES) in a serene and tranquil atmosphere at Gandipet, Hyderabad with an affiliation to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh.

Placement:- Our Graduates pursue Post Graduate and Research Studies in several insitutions of repute within and outside the country. The placement wing in the college is successful in providing placements to the out-going students through campus recruitment conducted by many organizatios of national and international repute. The placemnet officer notifies the names of the companies that visit for placements to the students through circulars. The companies that regularily visit MGIT for placements are:- Infosys,Wipro,Satyam computers, SQL Software,L&T Infotech, Sierra Atlantic, Dell Internationall Services, Cognizant, Syntel, Birla software, Visual soft, Virtusa, Accenture,, Dolcera, ssa global, Qualcore logic,Essar Steels, Red pine technologies, OSI Technologies etc. The Placements of the institute of the institute has been on the rise since 2005-06 to 2007-08.
