Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering (CRCE) was established in 1984 as part of Fr. Agnel Technical Complex at Bandra, Mumbai by the Society of St. Xavier Pilar and is named after its founder late Rev. Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues.The college is affiliated to University of Mumbai. The college has acquired a good reputation for its academic standards. From the year 1997, the DTE of Maharashtra has instituted a scheme of grading all the engineering colleges in Maharashtra states.

This grading is based on the academic standards, faculty and infra-structural facilities for the institution. Our college has been graded consistently as 'A' from the inception. The college offers Bachelor Degree courses in Production Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering and Information Technology. College also offers full-time Masters Degree courses in Production Engineering (Robotics), Electronics Engineering and part-time Production Engineering (Manufacturing). The college is located at Bandstand, Bandra in a picturesque environment surrounded by Arabian Sea. The major charactersistics of college are: Well experienced, dedicated staff. Most of our faculty members have rich experience in Industry / R & D establishments.

Functions of the training and placement cell

  • To contact various industries for the placement of our final year students in various departments.
  • Arranging in-plant training to the students of final year in various industries.
  • Inviting industry professionals to visit our college and showing them the facilities and infrastructure available with us. This helps in placement of our students.
  • Taking feedback from industries and using it as the input towards the development of facilities in the college.
  • Arranging special training to the staff for enhancing their skills and learn the new technology in the market.
  • Arranging industrial visits to various industries for the students to understand practices, concepts and processes.
  • Periodical meeting of Principal, HODs regarding placement improvement.
