Bangalore, January 2011: IFIM Business School has announced the admissions to its 2011-2013 batch. The 2 year full-time courses being offered by IFIM include: Postgraduate diploma in Management (PGDM), Postgraduate diploma in Management- International Business (PGDM-IB) and Postgraduate diploma in Management- Finance (PGDM-Finance). The courses are accredited and approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD (GOI), NBA and AIU.
- The PGDM course is IFIM’s flagship program. The academic content of the program is built in a manner to facilitate a student to be technically competent in a global scenario. The areas of emphasis in this program include HR, IT, Marketing, General Management & Strategy and Finance. PGDM students have a 6 month intensive Industry Internship Program (IIP) which will give them hands on exposure of the corporate world.
- PGDM Finance offered by IFIM Business School is an intensely structured program where the students have the option to take up electives and build expertise across verticals like Financial Markets, Banking, Valuations and Insurance. A major focus is on learning through Lab sessions and simulations. - The PGDM-International Business program’s curriculum has been carefully designed to suit today’s global business management and its challenges. The student interested in taking admissions should have given either CAT, MAT, XAT or GMAT exam and should have a minimum of 50% marks in their graduation. The cut off score will be 80 percentile and above in MAT, 70 percentile in CAT and 75 percentile in XAT.
Students applying to IFIM with their CAT scores can apply for Scholarships. There are Scholarships with up to 100% tuition fee waiver for students whose CAT scores are above 80. The Scholarships will be given to candidates who have the requisite percentile and on a first come first served basis.
