MICA (Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad) has started a MDP (management development programme) on ‘Communicating Global Leadership’.
The five day program starting from December 3 to December 7, 2012 targets senior and top level management professionals who are already serving or are soon to take up global leadership roles. The program will make them aware about fine points of cross-cultural communication and prepare them for leadership roles. The MDP will be led by director of MICA and will impart skills, tools and techniques to the participants required for leading an organization with a global outlook.
Mica offers various UG (undergraduate) and PG (postgraduate) programs in market research, advertising, communication and media planning.
The program will measure the existing level of global competency with the help of a valid and reliable survey to identify the strengths of participants in global leadership and focus on the areas of improvement.
The MDP will also help its participants to understand the significance of one’s own cultural values in communicating with others, explore the significance of learning how to overcome personal and professional barriers in inter-cultural contexts, discover culture-general principles that can enable cross cultural communication and learn how to interact like a global leader.
The program will also discuss the similarities bridging various cultures and dissimilarities posing challenges which can be considered as an opportunity to learn and grow.
