SIMSREE Concludes Final Placements 2012

SIMSREE (Sydenham Institute of Management Studies, Research and Entrepreneurship Education) has concluded its final placements for its 2010-2012 batch and has successfully placed 119 students at reputed firms such as Accenture, Castrol, Cognizant Business Consulting, Tata Motors, Google, JPMC, Deutsche Bank, Citibank, Deutsche Bank, DHL, BASF, Nomura and Credit Suisse.

Overall, 91 companies visited the campus and made 152 job offers to the students. The highest domestic salary package offered at the campus was Rs. 18 lakhs p.a. while the average salary offered was Rs. 9.86 lakhs p.a. BFSI sector companies picked up 35% students from the total batch size. Other sectors like Consulting, FMCG and IT also picked up good number of students from the campus. BFSI was most preferred sectors among students.

As per the placement cell, the number of offers for marketing profiles has significantly increased this year. Recruiters such as DHL, Google, BASF extended offers for key marketing profiles such as Sales, brand management, marketing communications. The SIMSREE is traditionally known for its finance placements which followed this year too.

This year SIMSREE saw most of the regular recruiters and a good number of new recruiters visiting campus. Some of their new recruiters who visited the campus are Cognizant Business Consulting, Google, Castrol, Deutsche Bank and DHL. The institute offered 1.3 jobs per student at the campus.
