Forest Management is a division of forestry that deals with the overall economic, administrative, legal and social aspects and with the scientific and technical knowledge related to growth and preservation of forests. Forest Management also includes silviculture (forest development), forest menstruation (measuring trees), protection, managing natural and other resources.

Forest Management skills involves planting and replanting of different species, cutting roads and pathways through forests, timber extraction and preventing fire. Forests also need care and security.
