Neurosciences

Neuroscience is a division of science which deals with the study of nervous system. Neuroscience involves various disciplines such as physics, mathematics, psychology, computer science, philosophy and medicine. Neuroscience is also known as neurobiology. Though, neurobiology is categorically associated to the biology of nervous system whereas neuroscience is concerned with the science of the nervous system, both terms are interchangaeable.
Neuroscience programs essetially study the relationship between nervous system and the brain. It helps in solving issues related to nervous systems and the brain. This field with its widescope offers several career options to many students.

Basic Eligibility
UG:
For admission into bachelor’s degree a student needs to complete his/her higher secondary education or 10+2 with subjects such as biology, physics and chemistry from any recognized university/institute. The duration for this program is 3 years.
PG:
For admission into master’s degree a student should have a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience. The duration for this program is 2 years.
