Newcastle University is offering MBBS (Hons) and MBBS (Hons) - Accelerated program. MBBS (Hons) is designed to provide a general medical education for all types of doctor, which will serve as the foundation for later career specialization. The Doctor of Philosophy in Social Work (by Research) degree is offered by the department of Social work. Candidates with a good degree in social work can be considered and they will need to undertake research work in social work practice or human service arena under the supervision of an assigned academic staff. Research scholarships are available.
Supervision is available in areas of research such as; family studies, social work practice, intervention outcomes, ageing issues, social support networks, community development, evaluation of service delivery, social policies, volunteerism, crime and deliquency, mental health, drug abuse, coping behaviour, social-ecological response, human service management, and rehabilitation of persons with disabilities.
The eligibility criteria for Ph.D in Social work is masters degree in social work; or an NUS honours degree (at least second class upper) or equivalent (e.g., a four-year bachelors degree with an average grade above B) in social work, subject to approval by the faculty, on a case-by-case basis and TOEFL/IELTS, where applicable.

AeroAstro is America’s oldest and most respected university aerospace department.
The eligibility criteria for Aeronautics program is GPA score with a minimum of B (3.0 on a four-point scale, or 4.0 on a five-point scale) to apply. Historically speaking the faculty have tended to admit students with at least a 3.5 out of 4.0, (4.5 out of 5.0) or from the top 5-10% of their class. However, grades are simply one aspect of an applicant's file that is considered when making admissions decisions. This minimum GPA is not a requirement, but simply a guideline.
AeroAstro uses a department specific electronic graduate application, which can be found here. You may not apply to the program using the general MIT graduate application. Orthodontics is available as a subject of study for the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) and Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (DClinDent) degrees. Most Australian universities accept the graduation system of three years for entry into most postgraduate courses. An Indian bachelor degree like B.A, B.Com or B.Sc. (ordinary) is equivalent to an Australian Bachelor (Ordinary) Degree. However, some courses and universities may require a qualification equivalent to Australian Bachelor (Honours) Degree, which requires either an honours graduation degree like B.A (H), B.Com (H) etc. or 16 years of formal education, which would mean another year after graduation or a four year degree course like B.E, B.Tech and other such courses. For most Universities, a good first degree from a leading university in India or its equivalent is essential.
Academic records required for studying in Australia are full details of your education including your course subjects and grades are required in the applications. Transcripts or official records of your previous academic qualifications are crucial for your application. Students applying for admission are required to submit an official transcript from each college or university that they have attended after secondary school with complete details of the subjects, credits involved and other details like correspondence courses, diplomas etc. If the originals are not in English, copies and a good English translation must be enclosed. Please ensure all the copies of these documents are attested.
Standardized tests that Australia Universities could ask are IELTS, TOEFL, GRE or SAT and GMAT. The eligibility criterion for Ph.D program is candidate must have completed twelve courses – six courses with at least one grade of honors and a maximum of one grade of pass by July 15 following the first year, at least twelve courses with grades of honors in at least four of these courses and not more than one pass by July 15 following the second year. One of these twelve courses must be The Teaching of English (ENGL 990). Courses selected must include one Medieval, one Early Modern, one eighteenth and/or nineteenth-century, one twentieth and/or twenty first century.
Satisfy the language requirement in one of three ways by the end of the second year, pass the oral examination before or as early as possible in the fifth term of residence, the exam consists of questions on five topics, developed by the student in consultation with examiners and subject to approval by the DGS.
Submit a ten-page dissertation prospectus, normally by January 15 of the third year, teach a minimum of two terms and submit a dissertation.
Upon completion of all predissertation requirements, including the prospectus, students are admitted to candidacy for the Ph.D. Admission to candidacy must take place by the end of the third year of study.
