Bachelor Of Design (Fashion Design) [B.Des. (FD)] is a 4-year program aimed at imparting professional fashion education that focuses on innovation for the sustainability of economical, ecological and social values.

Eligibility

Duration: 4 years (8 semesters).

The option for three year exit of BACHELOR OF DESIGN (FASHION DESIGN): B.Des. (Fashion Design) leads to the award of BACHELOR OF ARTS (FASHION DESIGN): [BA(Fashion Design)]. The students awarded with BA (Fashion Design) would not be permitted to rejoin for B.Des. (Fashion Design).

Citizenship: Indian nationals.

Qualification: Pass in 10+2 or 3 years diploma by the Central/State Government or equivalent qualification from any Board. Lateral entry to 2nd year: 10+3 year Diploma in Fashion Design

Admission Process

General Category: Admissions are done on the basis of the qualifying examination with minimum 50% marks in any stream.

Note: Candidates must submit their application on or before the last date and arrange to send the photocopy of their 10+2 marks so as to reach us on or before 30.05.2018.

Note: Candidates can apply both under General and Foreign/NRI categories. Change of category from Foreign/NRI to General after admission will not be entertained under any circumstances.

There is no Entrance Test for this course.

General Category: Based on the marks obtained at the qualifying examination, Shortlisted candidates list will be declared in the order of merit in the website.
