Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has re-opened the form correction facility for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2018 on its official website of CBSE NEET, cbseneet.nic.in.
Applicants who wish to correct any personal details in their online application can do so. They can visit the official website and make the corrections. Notification from the board says that they have already received several requests have been received by CBSE for making the correction in the application form.
While the board had conducted the exam on May 6 and the NEET 2018 answer keys are awaited, a new note is issued where CBSE has mentioned that “on request of the candidates, the correction facility is allowed in the following fields so that no correction will be allowed after the declaration of results.”
Three fields to be corrected in the CBSE NEET UG 2018
- Date of birth
- Category of the candidate
- Status of persons with disability
Number of candidates registered for the CBSE NEET UG 2018
A total of 13,26,725 candidates appeared for the exam at 2,255 exam centres. Of these, 5,80,648 are male and 7,46,076 are female candidates and only one transgender applicant.
Additional fee for form correction for CBSE NEET UG 2018
For form correction in category, applicants will have to pay an additional application fee.
CBSE NEET UG:
- NEET UG is conducted for admission to MBBS/BDS courses in India in medical/dental colleges run with the approval of the Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India
