About NMAT

NMATThe NMAT-2010 is a computer based test with three sections – Quantitative Ability, Language Skills and Logical Reasoning.
The NMAT-2010 will be offered during a 10 day testing window between 30 January 2010 and 8 February 2010.The NMAT is of 120 minutes and will consist of 120 questions. The questions are multiple choice types where the candidate needs to select one of the correct answers. The sections in the NMAT-2010 are Quantitative Ability, Language Skills and Logical Reasoning. There will be 0.25 marks deducted for every incorrect answer.

Eligibility

Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3) in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate. Two years post qualification work experience will be preferred. Candidates appearing final year degree exam can also apply.

Registration

Click on Register for NMAT-2010 in the NMAT website.
A new window for filling the Online Application will open up on your screen.
Click on the New User Registration button on the left side of the screen.
Read through the Terms and Conditions and click on the I Agree button to accept the Terms and Conditions.
Fill in the details requested in the online application form.
In the order of preference, please select three combinations of the city and date on which you would like to appear for the NMAT-2010.
Click on the Save and Continue button at the bottom of the page.
On the next screen, choose password, answer hint questions and click on the Submit button to register.
The next screen will display your unique NMAT-2010 ID.
You are required to pay the exam fee for successful completion of your registration. You may choose to make the payment instantly or return later to make the payment.
If you choose to make the payment instantly you click on the Click here to make payment link that appears along with your NMAT-2010 ID and proceed to make the payment. The screen will now display the payment options.
Make Payment options screen will show payment options links on the top:
Payment at Axis – If you choose to make cash payment at one of the designated Axis bank branches
Credit Card – If you choose to pay through your credit card
Demand Draft - If you choose to pay through a demand draft
If you choose to make the payment at a later stage, you need to click on the Make Payment button on the top of your screen after logging in with your unique NMAT ID and password.

Regular online registration window : 27 October 2009 to 6 December 2009.
Last date of making payment : 6 December 2009.
Last date for the receipt of payment : 8 December 2009.
Dates of entrance exam (if you are testing within India) : 30 January 2010 to 8 February 2010.
Declaration of result on NMIMS website : 2 March 2010.
