take care, don't let the studying get to you!
HEALTH almost invariably seems to take a back seat with students when it comes to the months of March-April. why? exams, of course. but, your health is something you can not, in fact, must not neglect. after all, "you" are the most important part of you, not your exam papers.

so what do students generally forget in their exam "tension"?.... the three most important aspects: food, sleep and physical exercise. all three go haywire.
to begin with food.. do not eat too much or too little. (to know which amount is the right amount, just ask mommy, she knows best!) do not eat a bulky amount in one go, especially at night. it is more preferable to eat moderate amounts 4-5 times a day. drink loads of water (and pee often). when studying, your body heat goes up (this is where that pimple came from). drinking lots of water and urinating often, is the best way to cool your body, and to clean your system.
sleep: a student requires an average of 6-7 hours of sleep. some might study all night and decide to sleep from 3 to 10 in the morning, it's 7 hours anyway. but... it's not healthy. simply because it does not suit your natural biological clock. make it a point to go to bed maximum by 11 in the night. and wake up not later than 6.30. remember that saying "early to bed and early to rise keeps one healthy, wealthy and wise"? well, it is true!!
exercise: stretch those muscles and give your eyes some rest. watching tv during your study breaks should be a strict no-no. better, take your doggy for a walk, or go jogging, or grab that cycle and speed away down your lane. this is a time when people tend to put on more weight. so do not neglect your physical exercise.
and remember, take it chill. do not freak out. it's after all only an exam.!!
for all those writing their CBSE and ISC boards soon... all the best!!
