B. Tech Bioinformatics - Stands for Bachelor of Technology in Bioinformatics. Typically, a B.Tech. is for four years, minimum eligibility for which is an intermediate (10 + 2) in science. Bio-Informatics is essentially the application of computer science and information technology to the molecular biology field. Subjects usually studied under this degree are Basic Biology,Introduction to Bioinformatics, Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Practicals etc.
