Important Tips
  • Start the application procedure early – Australian Universities start the admission process one year before the commencement of the course
  • Most Australian Universities have 2 intakes in a year – Feb/ March & July/ August
  • Most universities accept three years of under grad for postgrad courses. However, some courses and universities may require 16 years of formal education
  • Some universities require professional experience for some courses and are strict about this requirement
  • The personal essays, and/or statement of purpose, play a very important role in the process of evaluating your application
  • The Australian Government requires every student to have an OSHC – overseas student health cover
