CBSE NET online form submission till Nov 15; schedule for Dec 28 exam

The online form submission process of the National Eligibility Test (NET), to be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Sunday, December 28, 2014, will continue till Saturday, November 15, 2014. The NET application is a four-step process - Fill Application Form, Upload Scanned Photograph, Pay Examination Fee and Print Application Form, Admission Card & Attendance Slip. The application process started on Wednesday, October 15, 2014.

The generation of filled bank challan for fee has to be completed by November 15. The last date of submission of fee through online generated bank challan, at any branch of Syndicate, Canara or ICICI Bank is Tuesday, November 18, 2014. Moreover, the last date of taking printout of the application form, attendance slip and admit card from the website is Wednesday, November 19, 2014. The last date for receiving the printout of the online application form (one copy) and attendance slip (one copy) at the respective coordinating institute opted by the candidate (with fee receipt and category certificates) is Tuesday, November 25, 2014.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) used to conduct the UGC NET.  However, from this year, CBSE will be holding the NET examination.
