The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test 2014 (SNAP 2014) has retained its pen-paper format and candidates have to use blue or black ball point pen only, according to the website. SNAP 2014 will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm on Sunday, December 21, 2014 in 30 cities.
SNAP 2014 will be an objective test. Each question will have 4 responses. Candidates should choose an appropriate response. Each incorrect answer attracts 25% negative marks.
The test will consist of four sections for a total of 180 marks as follows:
- General English: Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability for 40 marks
- Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency for 40 marks
- General Awareness: General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Business Scenario for 40 marks
- Analytical & Logical Reasoning for 60 marks
Group Exercise (GE) has made a comeback as criteria for admissions based on the SNAP 2014. Altogether 10 marks out of a total of 100 will be allocated to GE to prepare the final merit list. GE was not included in the SNAP process last year. This year, GE will be used as final criteria to grant admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs by Symbiosis institutes.
SNAP 2014 registrations: The online registration process for SNAP 2014 started from Wednesday, September 3 and will be conducted till Wednesday, November 26, 2014. Candidates will be able to register online at siu.edu.in./snaptest.org. A latest passport-sized color photograph must be uploaded during registration. Candidates are permitted to make changes to their registration form until the closing date of registration. Rs 1,500 must be paid to complete the SNAP test registration.
Candidates need to further note that payments for the examination close on Saturday, November 29, 2014. Moreover, the admit cards will be available on the website from Saturday, December 6 to Sunday, December 21, 2014.
The SNAP 2014 Results are expected to be declared on Saturday, January 10, 2015.
