AIIMS Delhi BSc (Hons) Para Medical Courses 2019 – All India Institute of Medical Sciences, abbreviated as AIIMS, is India’s top public institution of medical education. With the primary location in the country’s capital, New Delhi, AIIMS has set up multiple branches across the country. The branches In in Jodhpur, Bhubaneswar, Bhopal, Patna, Raipur, and Rishikesh. It is one of the top colleges in India offering medical education with exceptional quality in both coursework and research.

AIIMS offers a wide variety of courses in undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. For all the courses AIIMS conducts its entrance examinations. Admissions are made based on the results of those exams. At the undergraduate level, AIIMS offers a 3-year Bachelor of Science (Honors) course of paramedical sciences. The programs offered are B.Sc.(Hons) in Nursing and B.Sc. (Hons) in Medical Technology in Radiography. As with all other courses, you will have to clear the entrance examination conducted by AIIMS to join these courses. Below are the details on how, where and when to apply for these courses for the academic year starting 2019.

The admission process in AIIMS is partially online. The application form must be filled and submitted online at the Examination Section website of the AIIMS. Exams will be conducted as objective type multiple choice questions. Reviews will also be done online at the specified date and time. Once the results are declared the seats are then filled based on the marks obtained by the students through the counseling process.

Eligibility

10+2 or equivalent with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in English, Physics Chemistry & Bio. or Maths

Schedule

The schedule of the admission process for the academic year 2019 has not been announced yet. The dates will be announced on the website of the AIIMS Examinations Section during the first quarter of the year. Based on the previous year schedules we can decide the tentative dates of the different deadlines.

The applications forms will be issued online at the end of March, and the candidates will be given a three week time to fill the application form and pay the examination fees online. During May, the application forms will be scrutinized. If there are any observations made during the scrutinization the form will be rejected with a reason of rejection specified. Candidates will then have a chance to correct the application form and re-submit them with the corrections made. Towards the end of May 2019, all the applications forms will be allotted roll number and admit cards will be issued.

The online entrance examination will be conducted in June 2019. ( Tentatively on June 15, 2019) . Since the investigation is done online, the results will be declared within ten days from the date of the exam ( Tentatively on  June 24, 2019). Following the results, the rank list will be published and the counseling will be in July 2019 and will be carried on until the final counseling in September 2019.
