SIBM Hyderabad MBA 2019-21 Admission – The admission process for MBA 2019-21 of the Symbiosis International Business Management (SIBM) Hyderabad is open now, and the aspiring candidates have to apply for admission by January 14, 2019, as per MBA Universe report. A constituent management college of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) Pune, SIBM Hyderabad will accept only the scores of SNAP 2018 examination for MBA admission 2019. The Symbiosis International University awards the SIBM students with the MBA degree.

SNAP 2018: Mandatory Exam
SNAP 2018 exam scores will be the principal shortlisting criterion at Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM) Hyderabad. The SIBM Admission Criteria 2019 describe in detail the admission eligibility, admission process, weightage to entrance exam scores, weightage to academics and work experience, final selection process among others. The B-school will accept SNAP 2018 scores for admission to its MBA programme.
SIBM Hyderabad Admission Eligibility
To meet the SIBM eligibility criteria, the candidate must hold a minimum a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC/ST)
A candidate appearing for the final year in graduation and those who have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply.
One of the essential points in SIBM Admission Eligibility criteria is that the candidate should appear in SNAP 2018 exam on December 16, 2018, and must score minimum cut off score in the entrance exam to become eligible for admission
SIBM Hyderabad Admission Criteria
SIBM Hyderabad Admission Criteria 2019 is a three-step process involving the Eligibility criteria, & application submission for SNAP 2018, Application for SIBM and shortlisting criteria and the Final Selection Criteria.
SIBM Hyderabad Short Listing Criteria
SIBM Hyderabad will shortlist the candidates for final selection round from among those who have applied for admission and have also appeared in SNAP 2018 exam conducted by SIU Pune. A candidate will be shortlisted by SIBM Hyderabad if he/she meets the following short listing criteria:
- SIBM Hyderabad will shortlist the Candidates by information provided in the application form, SNAP scores, educational background, and work experience if any
- The final stage of the selection process will be held individually by SIBM Hyderabad
Final Admission Selection Criteria
- All the shortlisted candidates are eligible to participate in Final selection round for admission to SIBM Hyderabad
- Final Selection Round 2019 at SIBM Hyderabad will have components like Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interaction (PI)
- The candidates will be required to produce their original documents regarding the information submitted in the application form
- Final Admission offer at SIBM Hyderabad will be based on performance in WAT, GE, PI, SNAP 2018 exam score and Institute specific score.
- The overall objective is to select the most deserving candidates.
- SNAP Examination score has a total of 150 marks and the weightage allotted is 50; WAT 10 and 10, GE 10 and 10, PI 20 and 20; Institute Specific 10 and 10 and the total weigthage allotted is 100.
Following steps are included in the SIBM Hyderabad Admission process:
Step 1: The candidate must apply and appear and score the minimum required percentile in SNAP 2018
Step 2: Candidates should register and apply for admission to SIBM Hyderabad latest by January 14, 2019
Step 3: Candidates are called for GE-WAT-PI Round from among the candidates who have a valid SNAP score, who have applied for admission to SIBM Hyderabad and who satisfy the eligibility criteria for the programme
Step 4: Final selection round will be held separately by SIBM Hyderabad
Step 5: After the GE-PI-WAT round, final admission offers will be made to successful candidates. Admission offers will be based on the weightage awarded to SNAP score, GE, WAT, PI and institute specific marks. Offer letters will be sent to the mailing address provided in the application form as also by email.
- For MBA the SNAP examination fee is Rs.1750, and SIBM Hyderabad application fee is Rs.1000.
Written Assessment Test (WAT)
Candidates should complete the essay/topical write up in time. The evaluation will be made by written communication skills, content, language, grammar, the flow of the presentation. Maximum marks awarded for the exercise are 10.
The candidates will be given an exercise/activity to be completed in a group within a specified time. They will be assessed for ten marks on their communication skills, team working, problem-solving ability
Personal Interaction: Overall Assessment
The candidates will be individually interviewed by an expert member panel comprising of academicians/ HR professionals/ Operations management experts / corporate executives to assess the overall personality effectiveness, attitude, fitment to the programme, curricular and co-curricular performance, professional achievements, the tenure of work experience, its relevance to the curriculum. The personal interview process will carry 20 marks.
SIBM Hyderabad Fees 2019-21
MBA Finance the fee is Rs.14,95,000 (under revision); MBA Marketing Rs.14,95,000 (under revision); MBA HR Rs.14,95000 (under revision) and MBA Operations Rs.14,95,000 (under revision).
SIBM Hyderabad has recorded consistent high placements over the years. Placement 2018 logged an average salary of Rs.6.60 lakh while the highest salary stood at Rs.12 lakh. A total of 48 top recruiters made offers to 82 students out of 122 students in the batch. Around 15 students opted out including the students pursuing the entrepreneurship goals. The top recruiters at SIBM Hyderabad include HDFC Bank, Docon, Bajaj Finserve, Spandana Spoorthy, TVS, Vernalis, Odessa Tech, Care Rating, ITC Hotels, Oracle, CBRE and Bisleri.
SNAP 2018 last date to apply is November 26, 2018. The SNAP 2018 examination date is on December 16, 2018. The last date to apply online and pay the fee at SIBM Hyderabad is on January 14, 2019. The announcement of Shortlist for GE-PI-WAT is on January 18, 2019. The GE-PI-WAt Dates are February 8-10 and February 14-17, 2019. The publication of the first merit list will be on February 4th week of 2019. The last date to pay program fee is on the fourth week of March next year, and program commencement will be on June 17, 2019.
