AIMA MAT 2019 PBT Registrations Reopened

AIMA MAT 2019 -The registration wing for the MAT 2019 has now been reopened by the AIMA (All India Management Association) on its official website. The first paper-based test or PBT was conducted by the AIMA on February 17, 2019.

In addition to the test, the candidates who had failed the opportunity to take the exam can now register once again for phase 2 of the PBT which is scheduled for February 24, 2019. However, it is important to note that the last day to register for the exam is on February 20, 2019, four days prior to the exam day.

Apart from the AIMA exploring the possibilities with a paper-based test, it also has been conducting computer-based exams as a primary gateway for young aspirants. In regards to the computer-based exams, it is worthwhile to note that there have been a few changes to the schedules and fixtures of the same. As per the new schedule and fixtures, candidates who are willing to take up the CBT (February Fixture) are requested to file in their registrations on or before February 18, 2019. The exams dates have been finalized for the same and have been scheduled on February 23, 2019.

With the advent of the first Paper Based Test, AIMA has given a widespread opportunity to aspiring students. Candidates interested in the MAT examinations can now choose to apply between the Computer Based Test and the Paper Based Test or can do both if they desire so.

While there is no significant changes or rewards to taking up either of the exams (Apart from the mode of attempt), candidates who take up both would have an option to select 7 management institutes as opposed to 5 when taking up either one of the modes.  Now, this is quite a game changer considering the leverage it gives to the candidates who take up both modes.

Admit cards are now available on the official website to candidates, who have applied for the paper-based test for MAT 2019,  while candidates who have opted for the computer-based test can expect they admit card up on the same website at 5:00 PM and above on February 19, 2019.

About MAT – MAT or Management Aptitude Test is test conducted by the AIMA as clearance exams for students who are interested in admission for MBA and allied programmes in over 600 business schools across the country. The exam has been conducted 4 times a year since its inception in the year 1998.
