Application process of JEE Main April 2019 to end on March 7

JEE Main April 2019 – The Joint Engineering Examination (JEE) Main 2019 online registration will end tomorrow (March 7). The aspiring candidates can visit the official website, jeemain.nic.in and apply. The JEE Main 2019 examination will be held from April 7-20, according to an India Today report.

Eligibility

  • The candidates who have passed a Class examination in 2017, 2018 or appearing in 2019 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE (Main) examination -2019
  • Only those candidates who have passed their Class 12th examination or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2017 or 2018; or those who are appearing in their Class XII examination or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2019 are eligible to appear in April 2019 JEE (Main)-2019 examination
  • Those candidates who have appeared in JEE (Main) -January 2019 examination are also eligible to appear in JEE (Main)-April 2019

Age limit

For appearing in the JEE (Main) examination there is no age limit for the candidates

 Steps to apply

  • Log on to the official website, jeemain.nic.in
  • On the homepage, click on the ‘online application process link’
  • Enter all the required information in the space provided
  • Click on the ‘Submit’
  • Pay the application fee
  • All the candidates are advised to take print out of the online application form for future use.

Photo and signature requirement

  • Scanned clear passport photograph in JPG/JPEG format (size between 10 kb-200 kb) (For First Timers)
  • Scanned clear signature in JPG/JPEG format (size between 4 kb-30 kb)(For First Timers)
  • A valid e-mail Id as all communication will be made on this e-mail Id
  • A valid mobile number as all information via SMS will be sent to this number
  • A valid debit/credit card or Net banking account if you want to pay online
  • A printer connected to your system to print e-challan and confirmation page

Exam schedule

  • The test will be held in two shifts: 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 pm and 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 pm
  • The total duration of the test will be three hours
  • Candidates are also advised to report at the examination hall/room in the examination centre by 9.00 am in the first shift and by 2.00 pm in the second shift

    Language
  • As per the official notification, the medium of question paper shall be in English, Hindi and Gujarati
  • The option of question paper language should be exercised while filling up the application form and it cannot be changed at a later stage

 Examination to use highly secured IT software

These examinations will use highly secured IT software and encryption to ensure delivery of tests just-in-time, just to make sure no leakages and other malpractices.
