The major focus of the course framework will be on the in-service training rather than theoretical lectures. Students are expected to actively participate in seminars, group discussions and research activities. The course also consists of a thesis or dissertation that the student has to complete with original work as a requirement for the degree qualification.
Candidates aspiring to take up this course must have completed the Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) in any recognized institution in India. Admission to the courses will be based on the entrance examination conducted by the institutions in which the admission is sought for. Generally, the admission process involves an admission test which acts as a primary filter to select the top ranking candidates among all those who applied for the course. The shortlisted candidates will then be given admission based on their performance in the personal interview. Students with exceptional academic record or work experience in the relevant fields will have an added advantage.
