Examination dates of UP BEd JEE 2019 deferred due to Lok Sabha Elections
UP BEd JEE 2019 – Due to the forthcoming elections to the Lok Sabha, the UP B.Ed Examination 2019 dates have been changed, as per Jagranjosh report. According to the official update, the examination conducting authority, Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University has called a meeting of the Advisory Committee to decide the new dates for the UP B.Ed JEE 2019 examination, noted the report.
Earlier, the UP B.Ed Examination 2019 was scheduled to be held on April 11, 2019. However, the first phase of General Election 2019 is scheduled for the same day and to avoid this clash the University has announced that the examination dates for UP B.Ed 2019 will be changed.
In addition to taking a final decision regarding the UP B.Ed Examination 2019, the Advisory Committee will also discuss the extension of the application deadline for the examination. As per the original notification, the UP B.Ed JEE 2019 application deadline was on March 11, 2019. Currently, nearly 3.5 lakh applicants have applied for the UP B.Ed JEE 2019 of which 3.05 lakh students have also paid the application fee for the entrance examination.
The last date for payment of fees is March 13, 2019. As of now, there is no confirmation regarding the extension of UP B.Ed Examination 2019 application deadline. Therefore, interested candidates are advised to complete the application process and payment of fees as per the original deadline announced in the notification said the report.
Citing sources, the report further said that the MJPRU is also not ready with all the logistical arrangements to hold the examination before the Lok Sabha Elections. Therefore, rumours suggest that the UP B.Ed 2019 examination will be postponed and will be held after the elections.
UP B.Ed JEE 2019 is a state-level entrance examination which is held to screen and select students for admission to B.Ed degree programs offered by different colleges in Uttar Pradesh. The examination is scheduled to be held at 15 test cities across UP. What is more, the examination will be of three hours duration in which candidates will have to answer MCQ questions. The UP B.Ed JEE examination 2019 consists of two parts, Paper 1 which consists of question from GK and Hindi / English sections and Paper 2 which includes questions on General Aptitude and Professional Subject, added the report.
M.J.P. Rohilkhand University was established in 1975 as an affiliating University. Its status was upgraded to affiliating-cum-residential university in 1985 when four teaching Departments were established on the campus. In 1987 three more Departments were added. In August 1997 Rohilkhand University was renamed as Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University. The University headquarter is located at Bareilly with its territorial jurisdiction extending over the districts of Bareilly, Moradabad, Rampur, Bijnore, Jyotibaphule Nagar, Baduan, Pilibhit and Shahjahanpur.
The University campus spreads over 206 acres of Land. The Campus possesses administrative building, faculty buildings, Central Library, Multipurpose hall, a hostel for boys and girls, Staff quarter for Vice Chancellor and another officer of the University, faculty members, Non-teaching staff, Guesthouses and Sports complex. It has also a medical centre.
The senior faculty members of different disciplines in Humanities, Science and Technology are running research projects funded by various agencies and so far 49 projects funded by UGC, AICTE, DST, CST, ICAR, ICHR, MIF have been completed. Teachers of the affiliated colleges are also engaged in research projects funded by the above agencies.
