Engineers- Generally, problem solvers are Engineers. An electrical engineer must find out how to redesign existing electrical components for your laptop to work faster. On a large scale for the consumer market, once the concept is constructed, manufacturing engineers must discover how to produce the new components. To solve problems these new iterations of products and procedures require engineers and work through possible solutions.

With colleagues, an engineer should be comfortable working in teams and communicating effectively, negotiating, creating relationships giving feedback and motivating colleagues.

A laborious thinking should be applied by an Engineer and make ethical and morally sound decisions. To enable engineers, Engineering societies have developed a code of engineering ethics to speak up if they predict and anticipate faults or snags with a solution.
The result of strategic and planned thinking will be innovative products, which is an important characteristic of engineers. The ability to tap into collective knowledge is the attribute that clearly identifies a specific aim to solve the problem, link unrelated concepts to construct new thoughts and experiment to create technical leaps forward.

By how things work, Engineers should be intrigued, work and the science behind it. At a young age, many take apart their toys, in order to discover how to put them back together. This is significant because before implementing changes engineers need to understand a product.
While others perceive a problem, Engineers might sense an opportunity since they are realistic and practical. This ability stimulates the questioning minds of engineers and helps them use scientific knowledge and create technical and methodological solutions.
