JKBOPEE CET 2019 Date announced

JKBOPEE CET 2019 – The application process for admission to Jammu and Kashmir engineering colleges will be open from January 27 onwards. The exam will be conducted on April 21, 2019, as per IE report. The common entrance test (CET) for admission to undergraduate engineering courses including B.E and B.Tech for Jammu and Kashmir colleges – BOPE will be conducted on April 21, 2019, informs an official release by the JKBOPEE. The official notification will begin on January 27 on the official website, jkbopee.gov.in.

The application process for JKBOPEE will begin from February 2, 2019. The last date to apply is February 29, 2019. Applications will be accepted online only. The result will be released in March 2019. According to the official notification, “result will be announced within 21 days from the conduct of exam.”

11  Eligibility Should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as their elective subjects with 50% Marks for OM candidates and 40% for category candidates (Other than Sports, JKPM and CDP). Those who are appearing in the 10+2 examination annual Session 2019 only) are also eligible provided they have qualified the examination at the time of the declaration of the result of the BOPEE examination/at the date of counselling as may be notified by the Board.

Eligibility

Candidates need to clear class 12 or equivalent with English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with at least 50 per cent marks to be eligible to appear for the entrance exam. The minimum marks requirement is 40 per cent for reserved category candidates. Those who are appearing for class 12 can apply, however, their admission will be subjected to their class 12 result.

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE), has been constituted under the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations Act, 2002, primarily for the conduct of Entrance Tests and making selection of candidates for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate professional courses in the State.
