Last date to apply for LIC AAO examination is tomorrow

LIC AAO examination – Those aspiring candidates who wish to apply for the Life Insurance Corporation of India Limited (LIC) Assistant Administrative Officers (Generalist/IT/Chartered Accountant/Actuarial/Rajbhasha) examination 2019 need to apply online tomorrow. The last date to apply for the said positions is March 22, 2019. The application processor online registration of applications and online payment of application fee/intimation charges commenced on March 2, 2019.

The total number of openings is 590. Out of this 350 posts are reserved for AAO Generalist, 150 openings reserved for AAO IIT, 50 for AAO CA, 30 for AAO (Actuarial) and five for AAO (Rajbhasha), noted the report. The total number of openings and the reserved vacancies is provisional and may vary according to the actual requirements, said the report.

Eligibility

  • The minimum qualification required for different AAO positions is different and should be checked in the notification
  • Candidates must be at least 21 years of age (as on March 1, 2019), but not more than 30 years old (candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.03.1989 and not later than 01.03.1998 both days inclusive only are eligible)
  • There is relaxations in upper age limit for Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe(ST)/Other Backward Community(OBC)/ Emergency Commissioned Officers (ECO) /Short Service Commissioned Officers (SSCO) /Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) /Confirmed LIC employees

Application Fee

  • The application fee for the LIC AAO positions is Rs 600 plus transaction charges for all candidates other than SC/ST/ PwBD
  • For SC/ST/ PwBD candidates the fees are Rs 100 and transaction charges

The exam for LIC AAO recruitment is tentatively scheduled for May 4th and 5th; call letters for the exam will be made available from April 22 to April 30, 2019.  Visit LIC career section regularly for latest updates on the examination.

Steps to Apply

  • Before applying online, candidates should scan their photograph (4/5 cm x 3.5 cm)
  • Signature (with black ink)
  • Left thumb impression (on a white paper with black ink)
  • Candidates have to ensure all these scanned documents adhere to the required specifications
  • Signature in capital letters will not be accepted
  • The left thumb impression should be properly scanned and not smudged
  • If a candidate is not having a left thumb, only then the right thumb is allowed to do the impression
  • Candidates satisfying the conditions of eligibility as on March 1, 2019, are required to go to the LIC’s website licindia.in and click on the careers to open the link
  • It redirects the candidates to the online registration page
  • To register application, choose the tab Click Here for New Registration and enter a name, contact details and e-mail ID
  • A provisional registration number and password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen
  • Candidates should note down the provisional registration number and password
  • An e-mail and SMS indicating the provisional registration number and password will also be sent
  • Candidates are advised to carefully fill and verify the details filled in the online application themselves as no change will be possible/entertained after clicking the final submit button
  • The name of the candidate or his/her father/husband etc should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the certificates/mark sheets/identity proof
  • Any change/alteration found may disqualify the candidature
  • Validate our details and save your application by clicking the Validate your details and save and next button
  • Candidates can proceed to upload photo and signature as per the specifications are given in the guidelines for scanning and upload of photograph and signature detailed under point C
  • Candidates can proceed to fill other details of the application form
  • Click on the preview tab and proceed for payment
  • Click on Submit button
