MBA at RCBS – The Rajagari College of Global Sciences shortly known as RCBS was the very first institution established under Rajagiri Vidapeethan trust. The college currently is a provider various educational programmes such as higher graduations, research and training, a consultancy in the social work management, computer science and library science since its inception in the year 1955
The institute goes by and serves by its moto. For every investment made by the parents for the future careers of their children, the college makes sure that their investments are met with the right value of education or even more. The college strives to make sure its students graduate “employment ready” to tackle the corporate and management hurdles in the current employment scenario. There as many as 7 campuses in the entire block in Kakannad. Three schools, one graduate campus and three postgraduate campuses.
The Rajagiri College of global sciences has a separate wing for the post graduation programmes made available under their banner. The courses provided here range from different streams and are narrowed down only to the post graduation programmes or degrees that are recognised by the AICTE or equivalent regulatory body in the country.
MBA – The Masters in Business administration program is a full-time two-year degree spread with four semesters half yearly with a summer internship to end it all. The first semester would have the students grouping in together to take a common syllabus having the basic necessities for a MBA graduate. However, in the second semester onwards, students would be required to choose their field of interests from Finance, Marketing, Operations and Information Systems. Based on their choice of interest, the students would be taught respective subjects as per need.
The curriculum of the programme is deemed autonomous and designed by the RCSS to aide in developing the students to become better and competent managers and duty ready to tackle the hurdles in any given organisation. In regard to the degree’s authenticity, the college has its approval from the AICTE
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any stream maintaining an aggregate of less than 50%. The degree must be recognised by the MG University or any equivalent deemed fit.
Candidates are required to complete any of the entrance tests – CMAT, CAT, or KMAT. The only candidate who full fills this requirement would be considered for the second round. Shortlisted candidates would then be called for Group discussion followed by a round of personal Interview. The consolidated scores of these three measures would then be used to shortlist the candidates for admission.
