In this program, you will learn to work together effectively with peers in other fields and with key stakeholders and professionals to define research and achieve creative and sustainable solutions to contemporary water problems. All aspects of water basin issues will be explored while building knowledge in one of the following areas: engineering & science; science & management; or law, management & policy.

Students participate in the university’s Waters of the West program, leads associative research and outreach to help communities analyse and reach solutions to water basin problems. The duration of Master of Science in Water Resources is mostly of two academic years, but it may vary from institute to institute and may be on a part-time basis by individual institutes. The syllabus for the course is divided into four semesters.

  • A Bachelor degree in Science, Engineering, Commerce, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics and Geography with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 6.75 on a 10-point scale or equivalent.
