Registration Process for 68,000 vacancies in School Education Department in UP

The registration process for 68,000 teacher’s posts in the school education department in Uttar Pradesh will commence from December 11, 2018. Quoting PTI, an NDTV report said the UP Basic Education Board would be conducting the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) Examination on November 18 and the results will be declared on December 10.

It might be recalled that according to an earlier announcement, the UPTET examination was scheduled to be held on November 4, 2018, for which the registration process was concluded last week, noted the report. The registration process for the vacancies will be undertaken on the official website of the Board, upbasiceduboard.gov.in.

Meanwhile, in another update, the education department official said that the BTC or Basic Training Examination in the state will now be held between November 1 and 3, he said, adding that the result of this examination will also be declared by December 10. The BTC examination was cancelled all over the state after paper leakage in Kaushambi, said the report and added that the test for Teachers Bharti Pariksha would be conducted on January 6, 2019, PTI quoted the official as saying.

The decision in this regard was taken at a meeting of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath with senior officials of the Education Department, he said. The Chief Minister, according to the spokesperson, has instructed the STF and the police department to take strict action against those involved in BTC papers leak. Action, like arresting, forfeiting property and imposing NSA, if required, against gang leaders involved in the paper leak, should be taken by police, the Chief Minister announced in the meeting. UPTET is a state-level test, conducted by UPBEB (Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board) for the recruitment of Primary and Upper Primary Level teachers in various schools of Uttar Pradesh.

UPTET Qualification of Primary Teachers (Class 1 to 5)

  • Must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the intermediate examination.
  • Candidates who have completed their graduation or those who are studying in the 2nd year of BTC/ passed in an institute affiliated to NCTE
  • Candidates who have completed their graduation or those who are studying in final year of D.Ed (Specialization) in an institute recognised by RCI.
  • Candidates who have completed their graduation or those who are studying in the 2nd year of BTC (Urdu)/ passed in an institute affiliated to NCTE.
  • Candidates who have completed their graduation or those who are in final year/ passed Diploma in Teaching from Aligarh Muslim University.
  • For Urdu Teaching: Candidates who have completed their graduation or those who are Moa’llim-e-Urdu degree holders from Aligarh Muslim University before August 11, 1997.
  • Candidates who are currently studying in the final year B.EL.ED.

UPTET Qualification of Primary Teachers (Class 6 to 8)

  • Candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the intermediate examination.
  • Candidates who have completed their graduation or those who are studying in the 2nd year of BTC in an institute affiliated to NCTE
  • Candidates who have completed their graduation/ post-graduation with a minimum of 50% marks or those who have passed or currently studying in 2nd year of B.Ed in an institute affiliated to NCTE.
  • Candidates who have completed their graduation/ post-graduation with a minimum of 50% marks or those who have passed or currently studying in 2nd year of L.T. in an institute affiliated to NCTE.
  • Candidates who have completed their graduation/ post-graduation with a minimum of 50% marks or those who have passed or currently studying in 2nd year of B.Ed (Specialization) in an institute affiliated to RCI.
  • Candidates who have scored 50% marks in intermediate and who are currently studying in the final year or passed B.Ed.
  • Candidates who are currently studying in the final year or passed B.S.C.Ed.
  • Candidates who are currently studying in the final year or passed B.EL.ED.

Age

The age of the applicant must be between 18 Years and 35 Years. Candidates who belong to reserved categories would be given age relaxation as per the norms prescribed by the government.
